Hypno-coaching: the plan and the ground

Coaching structures the path.

Hypnosis lifts the blocks willpower can't reach.

Together, that's hypno-coaching, and this page explains what it is, what it isn't, and which kind of support to turn to.

Coaching, therapy, hypno-coaching: an honest sort

Let's start with what tends to stay blurry, because sorting it out correctly saves months.
  • Therapy treats suffering: it belongs to psychologists and doctors. If you're going through psychological distress, that's where to go first — and we'll tell you so from the first conversation.
  • Well-being hypnotherapy eases and undoes blocks: stress, fears, habits.
  • Coaching, for its part, looks ahead. You move from point A, your situation, to point B, a goal you've chosen. It's an action-oriented approach, not care, for people who are fundamentally doing fine but want things to move.
  • And hypno-coaching is our combination of the last two: the structure of coaching, plus hypnosis to unlock what's stuck at a deeper level.

The real problem: you already know what to do

Missing information is almost never the problem.

You know you should send that resume, have that conversation, start that project, set that boundary.

You've known for months.

And you're not doing it.

That's precisely the limit of classic coaching: a flawless action plan breaks on blocks the plan can't see.

  • Limiting beliefs — "that's not for people like me," "it's too late," "I'm not someone who…"
  • The fear of failure, and its quieter twin, the fear of succeeding: success exposes you, commits you, shifts the balance.
  • Invisible loyalties — surpassing your parents, leaving the path laid out for you, daring what no one around you has dared.
  • An identity running late: you only sustain what's consistent with the image you hold of yourself.

These blocks don't reason with you. They get reprogrammed.

The power of Hypno-Coaching

Two levels worked in parallel

Two people sitting face to face in conversation

This is the principle behind hypno-coaching: the process works the plan (goals, steps, actions…) and the ground (the beliefs, the fears, the identity that has to follow….)

The plan without the ground gives New Year's resolutions.

The ground without the plan gives insights that go nowhere.

The two together produce movement.

That holds true whatever the area: a career change, taking on a new role, a personal decision that's stalled, or a young person who has to choose a direction.

What sets a serious process apart

Four markers, true everywhere and useful when choosing, with us as much as anywhere else.

  • A clear-cut goal.
Serious coaching starts from a measurable, dated target, not a vague intention. "Feeling better" isn't a goal; "having sent five applications within a month" is.
  • An announced end.
Autonomy is the point: a process that never ends is a failed one. We give a rough timeframe from the first conversation.
  • The sort, said plainly.
If you're suffering, the practitioner has to direct you to a doctor or a psychologist.
  • No promise of results. Not a job, not a success, not a guaranteed transformation: what gets worked on is your readiness and your ability to act.

What hypno-coaching isn't

It isn't therapy. We don't treat anything, we don't make any diagnosis. Significant psychological suffering belongs to a doctor or a psychologist — and that's said at the first conversation, not after six sessions.

It isn't advice. We won't tell you which decision to make, which path to choose, or whether to leave your job. Our role is to help you decide, not to decide for you.

It isn't magical thinking. Visualizing a goal doesn't make it happen. What produces a result is action — hypnosis helps you actually take it.

And it isn't a subscription. Expect generally a handful of sessions, with an end in sight.

Our tools

Hypno-coaching draws on:

  • Hypnosis: for beliefs, fears, anchoring a resourceful state,
  • Coaching tools: a well-formed goal, steps, taking action, accountability,
  • And self-hypnosis, taught from the start so you carry the essentials with you.

Some tools drawn from NLP come in too, which we use as a pragmatic toolbox, never as a dogma. We devote a whole page to what it actually delivers, and to what the research says about it without indulgence.

Coaching and well-being hypnotherapy are complementary support: they do not constitute a diagnosis or a treatment, do not replace advice or medical or psychological care, and guarantee no result. Significant psychological suffering belongs to a health professional.
