THERAPEUTIC HYPNOSIS
and its BENEFITSWhat Is Hypnosis?
The word "hypnosis" refers to both:
-
a particular state of consciousness, between wakefulness and sleep.
It is, in fact, a natural state that we can experience every day—for example, when we let our minds "wander" as we watch the scenery pass by from a vehicle, or when we become completely absorbed in a movie or a book. -
a set of techniques used to induce this state of hypnosis.
So we will use hypnosis to put you into a hypnotic state...
Why Use Hypnosis?
Connect with Your Subconscious and Make Better Use of Your Imagination:
When you are in a state of hypnosis, your critical, rational mind "goes on a journey.".
So instead of focusing on your problem (which you know all too well), you can use your imagination much more freely, especially to Get creative and find new solutions to your problem.
Hypnotherapy has many uses, including, for example:
- Strengthen the client's resources, develop their abilities (concentration, memory, creativity) and self-confidence
- Reduce Stress physical and mental well-being, and better manage certain situations (anxiety, fears)
- Managing Pain, on an as-needed basis (e.g., tooth extraction, childbirth) or in cases of chronic pain (following a medical diagnosis)
- Promote Sleep
- Changing Lifestyle Habits particularly in cases of addiction (in addition to medical and/or psychological care)
- Relieving the symptoms of depression or burnout (following a medical diagnosis)
The Different Types of Hypnosis:
"Classical" Hypnosis"
It is based on the distinction between the conscious and the unconscious and is generally quite directive. Every hypnosis practitioner is familiar with techniques derived from classical hypnosis, but it is used in this form primarily in medical applications.
Ericksonian Hypnosis
DNamed after the American psychiatrist Milton Erickson, who used very unusual strategies, deliberately seeking vagueness and ambiguity to deceive his patients’ rational minds, telling anecdotes and assigning them tasks (often very creative ones).

New Hypnosis
It incorporates elements of classical hypnosis and Ericksonian hypnosis, as well as concepts from NLP, in a less directive approach that involves the patient's active participation.
Humanistic Hypnosis:
Developed by Olivier Lockert, this approach no longer relies on the separation between the conscious and the unconscious but reverses the usual hypnotic induction to reconnect the person with themselves and others, to bring them into greater harmony or awaken them further.

Note
Stage hypnosis uses basic techniques from classical hypnosis, with the hypnotist taking on an authoritative and directive role.
Concerns about our practice:
Since we are neither psychologists nor doctors, nor do we hold a psychotherapy license, we do not use hypnosis techniques in the context of psychotherapy.
The monitoring conducted during sessions should in no way replace treatment provided by a licensed healthcare provider.
Your hypnotherapist will always provide services for which she was trained, and if She realizes that she can't to help or support you, she you will refer to to a person authorized which will be better able to meet your needs.
The client must inform the hypnotherapist of any psychological diagnoses they have received, as well as any ongoing psychiatric treatments or medications.

I loved my experience.
I went there for a stress-related issue, and in just one session, Florence managed to help me relax like never before through hypnosis.
My neck and shoulders are completely stiff, and it's been two weeks already! I can't seem to relax anymore, so I'm going back very soon to continue the treatment!
Mathilde

In my life, there's a "before" and an "after.".
My sessions with Sandra were a turning point in my process of emotional release.
With gentleness and compassion, she was able to untangle within my subconscious what had been causing me pain for years. She was able to clear away the many layers of repressed emotions.
I am so grateful to this wonderful person for helping me rediscover a sense of well-being that I had long since lost.
A huge thank you!!!
