insomnia and sleep disturbances, and extreme fatigue\u2026<br \/>This will significantly reduce the person's quality of life and hinder their ability to adhere to their treatment as effectively as chemotherapy?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness characterized by focused attention and heightened suggestibility. It is neither sleep nor a loss of control, but rather a state of deep relaxation in which the person remains conscious and able to interact with the therapist.<\/p>\n<p>Hypnosis can also induce a state of dissociation\u2014that sensation of seeing oneself from the outside\u2014which can be particularly helpful in pain management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We will use hypnosis to address various aspects
